Bubbles Abound Birthday Craft

Sure to be a winning activity at any summer birthday party, the Bubbles Abound Birthday Craft is fun for children of all ages.  Made from glue, a paper cup, scissors, and markers, this colorful bubble pipe will provide instant fun!  Included in the instructions are other fun ideas for an outdoor birthday party!

What you'll need:

  • Paper cup
  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons
  • Straw
  • Glue
  • Bubbles
How to make your Bubbles Abound Birthday Craft
  1. Using scissors, carefully poke a hole in the cup.  Insert the straw halfway into the hole and glue the edges so that it is secure.  Allow the glue to dry.  If working with younger kids, you may want to do this step ahead of time.  (see photos)
  2. Decorate the paper cup with markers or crayons.  Make sure to write your name on the cup so that it does not get mixed up with others.  (see photos)
  3. Your bubble pipe is now ready to use.  Fill it with bubbles so that the bubbles are just above the straw and blow.  Have fun contests and see who can blow the largest, smallest, and weirdest-shaped bubbles!  (see photos)
  4. Other fun ideas for a summer outdoor birthday party include having an egg toss or water balloon fight, making a slip and slide out of soap and garbage bags, and painting rocks!
