Secret Message Magic Craft

What you'll need:

• White crayons
• White paper
• Paintbrushes
• Tempura paint

1. Have kids write a message or draw a picture with a white crayon on the white cardstock.  (see photos)
2. Once all of the kids are finished, have them exchange their pictures or messages.  Paint over the paper with tempura paint and watch the messages appear.  Allow time for the paint to dry.  (see photos)
3. Other fun ideas to do at a magician-themed party include having kids create magnets, bookmarks, or cards out of the Secret Message Magic activity, learning a simple magic trick to try out at home, and hiding a surprise in the cake and awarding a prize to the person who finds it.  (see photos)
