Bottle Cap Scene Craft

This colorful bottle cap scene craft is fun to make in the summer or when doing a lesson on recycling since it uses old bottle caps to make the picture. Although children can use their imagination and create any scene they want, this craft shows how to make a pretty outdoor scene.

What you'll need:

  • An assortment of colorful bottle caps
  • Blue construction paper
  • Brown cardboard
  • Green foam
  • Orange tissue paper
  • Green tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
How to make your bottle cap scene craft:
  1. Cut a small strip of cardboard to use as a tree trunk and glue to one side of the blue construction paper.
  2. Glue three green bottle caps to the top of the cardboard strip.
  3. Cut two small pieces of the green foam to use as flower stems and glue onto the other side of the paper.
  4. Glue a colorful bottle cap to the top of each stem.
  5. From the green tissue paper, cut four small petals and glue two next to each stem.
  6. Glue an orange bottle cap on the top of the paper to use as the sun.
  7. Glue small orange pieces of tissue paper around the bottle cap as shown to complete the sun. We also glued some on top of the cap to cover the words.
