Cupcake Valentine

What you'll need:

• Cupcake Template
• Tissue paper
• Construction paper
• Paint
• Paint brush
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Glitter
• Crayons

1. Fold a piece of construction paper in half to make a card.
2. Print our cupcake template and cut it out. Trace it onto construction paper (any color cupcake you would like) and cut it out.
3. Cut a small piece of tissue paper, big enough to cover the bottom half of your cupcake. Fold it accordion style so it looks like a cupcake wrapper.
4. Glue the cupcake to the center of the front of the card and glue the cupcake wrapper on top of it.
5. Pretend that paint is the icing for your cupcake and “ice” just the top part of it any color you would like. We went with a vanilla/strawberry mix.
6. While the paint is still wet, shake on some glitter sprinkles.
7. Use the red paint to add a cherry to the top of the cupcake and add red glitter to the cherry if you’d like to add a bit more sparkle.
8. Once the paint is dry, use a crayon to write “You’re Sweet!” to the front of the card.
