Set your child to work craft the Picture Perfect School Days Picture Frame from a manilla folder, colored cardstock, and school-themed stickers. Customize the frame to match the colors of the outfit your child is wearing. Once complete, display this frame to show your child how special he or she is!

What you'll need:

  • Manila folder
  • 1 pieces of colored cardstock
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • Markers
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • School-themed stickers
How to make your picture frame:
  • Measure a seven inches by nine inches rectangle on a manilla folder and cut out. (see photos)
  • Take the photograph that you will be framing and place it face down in the center of the folder. Trace the photograph with a pencil and cut out the enclosed shape. (see photos).
  • Place the manilla folder on top of the colored cardstock and trace with a pencil. Cut out the cardstock, including the enclosed shape. (see photos)
  • Glue the cardstock on top of the manilla folder and press down firmly. Allow the glue to dry completely. (see photos)
  • Place a thin line of glue along the outside of the front of the photograph, center, and glue into the opening of the picture frame. (see photos)
  • Place a thin line of glue along the edges of the manilla folder and seal. Allow the glue to dry. (see photos)
  • Using stickers, markers, and any other decorations, decorate your picture frame. Be sure to include the date! (see photos)
  • Display your creation letting the world see your child's beautiful smile!
