Know someone who is full of kindness and always helping out?  Give them the You’re An Angel Greeting Card to thank them for their efforts!  Make your own card from colored cardstock, markers, glue, scissors, a pipe cleaner, and yarn.  Afterwards, attach a ribbon to make it into a fun keepsake ornament!

What you'll need:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • White, skin tone, and pink colored cardstock
  • Markers
  • 1 gold pipe cleaner
  • Hair-colored yarn
How to make your You’re An Angel Greeting Card
  1. Using scissors, cut two small heart shapes from the white cardstock for the angel’s wings.  Cut one heart shape from the pink cardstock for the angel’s body.  Cut a small circle from the skin colored cardstock for the angel’s head.
  2. Turn the pink heart shape upside down and glue the two wings to the back on either side of the angel’s body.  Glue the head to the top of the angel’s body.  Allow the glue to dry.
  3. Twist one end of the pipe cleaner into a circle.  Cut off the remaining pipe cleaner (leave one inch for gluing purposes) and glue to the top of the angel’s head for the halo.  Allow the glue to dry.
  4. Cut small bits of yarn and glue to the angel’s head for hair.  Allow the glue to dry.
  5. Using markers, draw a face on the angel.  Write “You’re An Angel!” on the body of the angel, or if you want it to look more like a standard greeting card, glue the angel to a piece of folded cardstock, and write it on the cardstock card.
  6. Your angel is complete!  Make another angel and glue a ribbon to the top of the angel for an ornament!
