Toilet Paper Roll Bumble Bee Craft

This cute bumblebee craft is made using a toilet paper roll and some construction paper. Children paint the toilet paper roll black and then add yellow paper strips. After adding some wings, antennae and a face, you have an adorable bumblebee!

What you'll need:

  • Toilet paper roll
  • Black paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black construction paper
  • Yellow construction paper
  • Manilla construction paper
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Two googly eyes
  • Black pipe cleaner
  • Template of wings
How to make your bumble bee craft:
  • Paint toilet paper roll black.
  • Using template, trace wings on black paper and cut out.
  • Cut three strips that will fit around toilet paper roll from yellow paper.
  • When paint is dry, glue yellow strips on toilet paper as shown.
  • Cut a circle from, the manilla paper and draw a smile with the black marker.
  • Glue two google eyes above smile.
  • Cut the pipe cleaner in half and glue behind face for antennae.Glue the face onto the top front of the toilet paper roll.
  • Glue the wings behind the toilet paper roll.
