Tissue Paper Flower Craft

Making flowers is a great preschool project. In this project, children get to pick which type of flower they would like to decorate and the colors they would like their flower to be. It is an easy project that can be done with just a few materials. When finished, the flowers look lovely on the classroom bulletin board.

What you'll need:

Flower one template Flower two template
Marker
Scissors
Glue
Various colors of cut up tissue paper
Various colors of construction paper
Green pipe cleaner

How to make your tissue paper flower craft:

Have child choose flower and trace and cut out the template onto the construction paper color of their choice.
Spread glue on a section of the flower and cover with tissue paper.
Repeat step 2 until the flower is complete.
Fold the pipe cleaner in half and twist together to create a stem. Glue it behind the flower as shown.
