What You'll Need

STEP 1

First, Trace and cut out the Parrot template.

STEP 2

Then trace and cut out each part of the template onto its appropriate colored sheet, Each piece has a color associated with it to make it easier for you to construct.

STEP 3

Glue the white card-stock to the center of the Orange construction paper, and fold hamburger style to make the card.

STEP 4

Start constructing the parrot by gluing the brown log onto the center left side of the card and glueing the parrots talon onto the log.

STEP 5

Then glue the parrot body onto the center of the card, having it overlapping the yellow talon.

STEP 6

Now glue the white beak onto the head of the parrot.

STEP 7

Glue the purple tail feather, then the blue tail feathers on top of it.

STEP 8

To finish constructing the parrot, glue the blue wing feathers, then the yellow feathers, then the red wing on top of it.

STEP 9

Now Glue the googly eye onto the parrot.

STEP 10

Finally, draw the beak onto the parrot, and write “Happy Father’s Day To My Favorite Parrot!”
