This cute polar bear craft is full of different shapes for kids to piece together. Simply use our template to cut out your felt pieces (because polar bears should be fuzzy!) and help your child glue together this cute winter craft. Once the basic polar bear craft is done, have your child use their imagination to personalize it a bit. Add a hat and scarf to the bear or fingerprint snowflakes and cotton ball snow drifts to the scene to keep it fun. This great winter craft for kids also is great for teaching your children shapes.

What you'll need:

  • Polar Bear template
  • Blue construction paper
  • White and pink felt
  • Red crayon
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • 2 googly eyes
  • Optional: felt scraps, cotton balls, white paint, etc.
How to make your Shape Polar Bear
  1. Print our template and cut the pieces out. Trace the pieces onto white felt and cut them out. We used a stiff felt for this craft just because it's usually easier to cut than the regular felt is.
  2. Help your child glue the polar bear together. Glue on eyes and a small pink felt triangle nose. Then draw on his mouth with the crayon.
  3. Decorate the polar bear and scene however you would like!
