Five Little Ducks Nursery Rhyme Craft

Youngsters will be able to practice counting and learn a new nursery rhyme with the Five Little Ducks Nursery Rhyme Craft.  Create your own work of art from colored cardstock, glue, markers, scissors, and Velcro.  Once complete, sing the song, and remove the ducks from the pond as you go!

What you'll need:

How to make your Five Little Ducks Nursery Rhyme Craft
  1. Using scissors, carefully cut a pond shape from the blue cardstock. Glue it to the center of the green cardstock. Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  2. Cut five small circles from the yellow cardstock for the ducks heads.  Cut five larger half circles from the yellow cardstock for the ducks’ bodies.  Glue a circular head to each of the half circle bodies.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)

  4. Using a marker, draw an eye on each of the ducks.  (see photos)
  5. Attach a piece of sticky Velcro to each of the ducks.  Attach the other side of each of the pieces to the duck pond.  (see photos)
