Pot of Gold Craft

When we told our daughter that we were going to stamp with lots of glue and then dump on a whole lot of glitter we immediately had her attention. This glittering pot of gold craft is a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day craft for kids. We made sure to guard ours well because this is sure to attract leprechauns!

What you'll need:

  • Black and green construction paper
  • Pot of gold template
  • White glue
  • Scissors
  • Paper plate
  • Gold glitter
  • Something small and round to use as a stamper to make the gold. We used an old medication dosing cup
  • *Optional* a shallow box for the glitter step
How to make your Pot of Gold Craft
  • Print our template and cut it out. Trace the pot onto black construction paper and cut it out. Glue the pot onto a piece of green construction paper.
  • Pour lots of glue onto the paper plate. Dip your stamper into the glue and press it onto the paper with your pot.
  • Transfer your paper (carefully) to the shallow box. Dump on the glitter so that all of the glue is completely covered.
  • Gently tap the back of the paper to remove the excess gold glitter.
