Fingerprint Turkey Place Card

One of my favorite childhood memories of Thanksgiving is making the place cards for the dinner table. I have a large extended family and would work for days on getting the cards just right. We wanted to pass the tradition on to our daughter this Thanksgiving so we made these fingerprint turkey cards with her. This is a quick craft that is easy to do (especially if you need to make a bunch of them) and your child will love seeing how their multi-colored fingerprints turn into a happy turkey for the table.

What you'll need: Red, orange, yellow and brown paint Black marker White posterboard How to make your Fingerprint Turkey Place Card: Cut a square piece of posterboard and fold it in half so it stands up. Have your child make an orange, red and yellow fingerprint all in a row (touching is best). Add a brown fingerprint in the middle of the colored fingerprints. Once the paint is dry, use the marker to add the face and a person’s name. Please add a comment
