Bell Bracelet Craft

After making a few crafts that we could shake to make noise, we wanted to switch things up just a bit. This bell bracelet craft was a lot of fun to make, and is a great way to let your child practice some fine motor skills. We found that when our daughter was younger stringing beads onto string was frustrating for her. The string was too floppy. Using a pipe cleaner instead is a great solution and makes this craft doable for even younger children. This bell bracelet is a fantastic music craft for kids and a unique twist on a homemade instrument.

What you'll need:

  • Pipe cleaner
  • Pony beads
  • Jingle bells
  • Scissors

How to make your bell bracelet musical instrument craft

  • Wrap the pipe cleaner around your child's arm to get an idea of how long you need the bracelet to be. Cut the pipe cleaner a little larger than you actually need.
  • Help your child string the pony beads onto the pipe cleaner. Periodically string on a jingle bell.
  • When the beads and bells are all on, wrap the ends around each other to close your bracelet.
