Caterpillar Counting Craft

Have your child learn to count and recognize numbers as they do this adorable caterpillar counting craft. They will really love counting out each pom pom and connecting them together to form a fuzzy caterpillar. Go a step further and help them write the numbers on the caterpillar's head themselves so they can also learn how to write numbers 1-10.

What you'll need:

  • Green, and blue construction paper
  • Marker
  • Bowl
  • At least 20 pom poms
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
How to make your caterpillar:
  • Cut out 10 green circles and number each one 1-10.
  • Place the green circles in a bowl or basket.
  • Have your child choose 3 circles and glue them onto the blue paper.
  • Then glue the pom poms next to the corresponding number creating a caterpillar. Lastly glue on some googly eyes and some antennas.
