Children will smile as they sing the Ten Little Fish Nursery Rhyme and wiggle the fish they make in the Ten Little Fish Nursery Rhyme Craft.  Create your own wiggling fish from colored cardstock, small brad, markers, tissue paper, foil, and Popsicle sticks.  This is a fun and easy craft for children of all ages!

What you'll need:

How to make your Ten Little Fish Nursery Rhyme Craft
  1. Using scissors, carefully cut football shape for the fish body from the colored cardstock.  Cut a triangle shape from the colored cardstock for the fish tail.   (see photos)
  2. Cut out strips of colored tissue paper and glue them to the end of the triangle tail.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  3. Using scissors, cut a fin out of the aluminum foil.  Glue to the body of the fish.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  4. Using markers, decorate the fish.  Don’t forget to add a face!  (see photos)
  5. Using scissors, carefully poke a hole in the tip of the triangle and on the back end of the oval.  Thread the brad through the two holes and fasten in place.  (see photos)
  6. Glue one Popsicle stick to the tail of the fish and one Popsicle stick to the body of the fish.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  7. Your fish is now complete!  Wiggle the fish as you sing Ten Little Fish!  If you don’t know the lyrics to the Ten Little Fish nursery rhyme, print out the provided lyrics.
