Snail Sun Catcher Craft

When the flowers are starting to bloom and bugs are everywhere it's the perfect time to make a few not so slimy versions of the bugs you see outside. These cute snail sun catchers are sure to make you smile and are loads of fun to make.

What you'll need:

  • Construction Paper
  • Coffee Filters
  • Markers
  • Glue
  • Tape or Stapler
  • Googly eyes
  • Spray bottle filled with water
  • Scissors
How to make your snail sun catcher craft:
  • Start by coloring your coffee filters with the markers any way you like and with as many colors as you like.
  • Once colored get your spray bottle and spray the colored coffee filter a few times and watch the colors run.
  • Let the filters dry. While they are drying cut out the snail frames. Use a coffee filter as a guide for the center circle. Make sure it's smaller than the coffee filter so you can glue or tape it in.
  • Once the coffee filters are dry, glue or tape the coffee filters on the back.
  • Next you can add the eyes and antennas if you would like.
  • Add it to a window and see all the colors shine!
