Letter Y Yo-Yo Craft

The letter Y yo-yo craft is a great activity for teaching the sound of y. Teachers can use this during letter of the week activities or moms on a rainy day at home. This craft is easy for all ages and can be made in a short amount of time. Have your child repeat the sound of y as they make their yo-yo.

What You'll Need

STEP 1

Print out the letter Y template and trace to construction paper. Cut out and glue to construction paper color of your choice.

STEP 2

Print out the yo-yo template and color with markers. Cut out and glue to the bottom of the letter y.

STEP 3

Cut a small piece of yarn or ribbon and glue to the top of the Y to the top of the yo-yo. (see picture)
