Yarn Wrapped Christmas Tree Craft

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Let's make a fun Christmas tree! This craft is so cute and fun for kids of all ages! This can easily be made at home or in the classroom setting. Use buttons, sequins, pom poms, etc. to decorate.

What you'll need:

  • styrofoam cone (any size)
  • yarn
  • craft glue
  • buttons, sequins, gems, stickers, pom poms, etc. to decorate
How to make your Yarn Wrapped Cone Christmas Tree
  1. Start anywhere on the cone and wrap completely in yarn. (There is no right or wrong way to this.)
  2. Make sure that you can't see any of the styrofoam!
  3. When finished, dab a small amount of glue to the top of the cone. Finish wrapping (covering) the top.
  4. Decorate!!
