This acorn craft is a great sensory craft for kids to make. We brought in a few acorns and let our daughter make observations about them before we made this craft which added a great preschool science aspect to it. She told us the top of the acorn is bumpy and the bottom of the acorn is very smooth, so we recreated that with our craft materials. We made the bottom of the acorn out of craft foam. To make the top of the acorn bumpy we used a layer of pumpkin pie spice. This wonderful fall scent dries a bit crispy and works perfectly in this easy fall craft for kids. From a nature walk to get acorns to crafting at home, this fall craft is a great way to spend a crisp autumn afternoon.
