Hickory, Dickory, Dock! Will become your youngster’s favorite nursery rhyme after creating a cute mouse and clock in the Hickory, Dickory, Dock! Nursery Rhyme Craft.  Make your own craft from markers, colored cardstock, scissors, glue, string, and wiggly eyes.  After making your cute craft, use the lyrics provided to sing the nursery rhyme.  This is also a wonderful craft for teach children to tell time!

How to make your Hickory, Dickory, Dock Nursery Rhyme Craft
  1. Using scissors, carefully cut a tear drop shape from the brown cardstock for the mouse’s body.  Cut one small tear drop shape from pink cardstock for the mouse’s ear.  Glue the ear and the wiggly eye to the mouse’s body.  Glue the yarn to the end of the mouse for the mouse’s tail.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  2. Use the black marker to draw a nose on the mouse.  (see photos)
  3. Cut a rectangle shape from the purple cardstock for the clock.  Cut a small circle from the white cardstock for the face of the clock.  Cut a small circle from the yellow cardstock for the ticker inside the clock.  Use markers to draw the numbers and hands on the clock.  Glue the face of the clock to the top of the purple rectangle.  Glue the ticker below the face of the clock.  Use a black marker to connect the two with a line.  Allow the glue to dry.  (see photos)
  4. Your mouse and clock are complete.  If desired, print out the attached lyrics, glue to the clock, and sing Hickory, Dickory, Dock! Don’t forget to move the mouse as you sing!
