This letter K kite craft is a fun alphabet craft to help teach kids their letters. This craft is easy for all ages and is great for teachers to use during the letter of the week activities. This kite can also be used as a fun, spring craft.

What You'll Need

STEP 1

Print out the letter K template and the kite template.

STEP 2

Cut them both out and trace the letter K onto yellow construction paper. Cut out and set outside.

STEP 3

Use markers or crayons and color the kite in 4 different colors.

STEP 4

Glue kite to the blue paper. Use the black marker and draw a tail to the bottom of the kite.

STEP 5

Make 3-4 small bows from ribbon or yarn and glue to the tail of the kite.

STEP 6

Use the yellow construction paper and make a sun for the corner of the blue paper. (or draw a sun with a yellow marker)

STEP 7

Use the white construction paper and cut out clouds to glue on the blue paper to make the kite look like it is flying in the sky.

STEP 8

Glue the large, yellow letter K to the middle of the kite.
