Pot of Gold Craft

When we told our daughter that we were going to stamp with lots of glue and then dump on a whole lot of glitter we immediately had her attention. This glittering pot of gold craft is a fantastic St. Patrick's Day craft for kids. We made sure to guard ours well because this is sure to attract leprechauns!

What you'll need:

Black and green construction paper
Pot of gold template
White glue
Scissors
Paper plate
Gold glitter
Something small and round to use as a stamper to make the gold. We used an old medication dosing cup
*Optional* a shallow box for the glitter step

How to make your Pot of Gold Craft

Print our template and cut it out. Trace the pot onto black construction paper and cut it out. Glue the pot onto a piece of green construction paper.
Pour lots of glue onto the paper plate. Dip your stamper into the glue and press it onto the paper with your pot.
Transfer your paper (carefully) to the shallow box. Dump on the glitter so that all of the glue is completely covered.
Gently tap the back of the paper to remove the excess gold glitter.
