Easy Paper Plate Bee Craft

In our preschool class, we do this craft as we introduce "Bee Rules". We talk about "bee kind", "bee gentle", "bee safe", etc. It is a fun and useful way to introduce classroom rules. This craft is perfect for the back to school season.

What you'll need:

  • Paper plate
  • Yellow paint and paint brush
  • Google eyes
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons
  • Black construction paper
  • Wax paper or scraps from laminator
7 Simple steps to make this paper plate bee craft:
  • Paint plate yellow.
  • Cut three strips and a triangle from black paper.
  • Cut two wings from wax paper or laminator scraps.
  • When paint is dry, glue black paper onto plate as shown. Triangle is for stinger.
  • Glue wings onto plate.
  • Glue google eyes on plate.
  • Draw a cute mouth under eyes.
