We asked our older daughter what happens to your teeth if you don’t brush them every day.  She knew they would get cavities and turn “yucky”, so she greatly enjoyed seeing the “sick yellow tooth get all healthy and white again”!  This tooth craft is a great reminder to show kids how to keep their teeth white and healthy.  It is a simple kids craft and can be done with materials you most likely already have on hand.  Using a toothbrush helps really make this activity fun (our two year old loved it!).  This is a great dental health craft for kids of all ages to do.

What you'll need:

  • Tooth template
  • Yellow construction paper
  • Tooth brush
  • White paint
  • Scotch tape (this is for gently taping the tooth down to make painting easier and reduce toddler frustration)
How to make your White Tooth Craft
  1. Print the tooth template out.  Cut it out, trace it onto yellow construction paper and cut the tooth out.
  2. Dip the paint brush in white paint and use it to paint the tooth until it is all white.
