This Shape Castle Craft is one of those crafts that uses simple materials but turns out so cute every time. We made this craft with our two daughters who are two and six with very different skill levels. For our younger daughter we actually traced the pre-cutout pieces onto a piece of construction paper first and then let her glue down the shapes like she was finishing a puzzle. Our older daughter was able to cut out the pieces on her own and create the castle herself with minimal guidance from me. After the shape castle craft was completed the girls used stickers to decorate and personalize their craft even more. This would be a great craft to make at a princess themed party!

What you'll need:

How to make your shape castle craft:
  1. Print our shape castle templates and cut out the pieces. Trace them onto whatever color construction paper your child would like.
  2. Cut the pieces out.
  3. For younger children, trace the pieces onto a piece of construction paper so they can put the pieces down in the right places on their own. Trace the circle pieces on top of the rectangles as well so they can understand where to put the windows as well.
  4. Glue the shapes down so they create a castle.
  5. If desired, decorate your castle with stickers.
