Flutter By Butterfly Greeting Card

Not only is the Flutter By Butterfly Greeting Card fun to make, but eating the candies beforehand is just as sweet!  Create your own card from colored candy wrappers, pipe cleaners, markers, glue, scissors, and colored cardstock.  Afterwards, add a loved one’s favorite candy, write a fun message inside, and deliver!

What you'll need:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • 1 large piece of colored cardstock
  • 5 colored candy wrappers
  • 2 sparkly pipe cleaners
  • Markers
How to make your Flutter By Butterfly Greeting Card
  1. Fold the large piece of cardstock in half to form the card.
  2. Using scissors, trim your candy wrappers to form squares.  Cut the pipe cleaners in three pieces each.  Fold a pipe cleaner in half.  Pinch the center of the wrappers and twist the center of the pipe cleaner around the wrapper.  Bend the ends to form the butterfly’s antenna.  Repeat with the remaining four candy wrapper.
  3. Glue the butterflies to the front of the cardstock.  Allow the glue to dry.
  4. Decorate the card with markers.  Don’t forget to write a nice message inside!
  5. Your card is complete!  For added fun, attach a small bag of your candy!
