Make a giant shamrock out of paper plates to celebrate St. Patrick's day.
Legend says that each leaf on a shamrock stands for something special. One
leaf is for hope, one is for faith and one is for love. The fourth leaf is
for luck. Feel free to add a fourth leaf onto your paper plate shamrock
craft. This is a great St. Patrick's day craft for kids because it uses a
lot of green paint and glue. Enjoy!
What you'll need:
- 3 small paper plates
- Large popsicle stick
- Green craft paint
- Black 3-D paint
- Paint brushes
- Glue
- Tape
How to make your Paper Plate Shamrock Craft
- Paint the bottoms of all three paper plates. Paint the
popsicle stick green as well.
- Once everything is dry overlap the edges of two of the plates and
glue them together. Glue the third plate so that it overlaps the
edges of both of the two plates. Use tape to secure the plates
together from the back.
- Tape the popsicle stick onto the back.
- Use the 3-D paint to write "Happy St. Patrick's Day!" onto the
plates along with a smiley face.
