Shamrock Snake Craft

Here's a fun St. Patrick's Day fact: St. Patrick is credited with driving all of the snakes out of Ireland. Because of this, we decided to make a shamrock snake craft! Use our provided template to get perfect shamrocks and then glue together to make a snake. This is a simple paper craft that is a fantastic St. Patrick's Day craft for kids.

What you'll need:

  • Shamrock Template
  • Green and red construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Black crayon
How to make your Shamrock Snake Craft
  1. Print our shamrock template and cut it out. Trace onto green construction paper and cut out. You need 9 shamrocks to make our snake.
  2. Glue the shamrocks together so that the top of one overlaps the stem part of the next.
  3. Cut a tongue shape out of red construction paper and glue it to the front of the shamrock snake. Draw eyes on the snake above the tongue.
