Plastic Plate Snow Globe Craft

This cute snow globe craft is fun to make in the winter. Children create a snowman on a paper snow globe and then cover it with a plastic plate to create a pretty snow globe.These colorful snow globes will brighten up your home or a classroom bulletin board!

What you'll need:

  • Hat, scarf, snowman template
  • Snow Globe template
  • Small plastic plate
  • Blue cardstock
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Orange and black markers
  • Three small buttons
  • Two google eyes
  • Colorful scrapbook paper
  • White construction paper
  • Three or more snowflake sticker

How to make your plastice plate snow globe craft

  1. Using template, trace snow globe onto blue cardstock and cut out.
  2. Using template, trace both snowballs onto white construction paper, cut out and glue on snow globe to create snowman.
  3. Using template, trace scarf and hat onto scrapbook paper, cut out and glue onto snowman.
  4. Glue google eyes and buttons onto snowman.
  5. Using markers, draw a nose and mouth under eyes.
  6. Place one or more snowflake stickers next to snowman.
  7. Glue plastic plate over snow globe and add more stickers under plate.
