Round of Applause Congratulations Greeting Card

Make someone’s smile brighter with the Round of Applause Congratulations Greeting Card!  Create your own hand-clapping card from colored cardstock, markers, pipe cleaner, a stapler, and scissors.  Afterwards, make or buy a simple friendship bracelet or ring and slip it onto the finger or wrist of the card!

What you'll need:

  • Scissors
  • 1 piece of skin colored cardstock
  • Markers
  • Stapler
  • Pipe cleaner for bracelet or ring (optional)
How to make your Round of Applause Congratulations Greeting Card
  1. Using a marker, trace your hand two times onto the piece of cardstock.  If you wish to add a bracelet to your card, make sure to trace some of your wrist as well!  Cut out the shapes, line the hands up, and staple at the top.
  2. Using markers, decorate your card.  You may wish to add fingernails or nail polish, jewelry, or a birthmark.  Write “You Deserve a Round of Applause!” on the card.
  3. To make a simple bracelet or ring, twist the pipe cleaner into a circle.  Wrap the end around the circle and tuck into place.  Make the circle very small for a ring or larger for a bracelet.
  4. Your card is complete!  Slip a ring on the finger or add a bracelet to the wrist for a unique gift!
