Drum Craft

Do your pots and pans need a break from being stand-in drums? Help your child make their very own drum with this simple container drum craft. This is a fun and simple music craft that kids of all ages will enjoy not only making, but playing with after it is made. Enjoy!

What you'll need:

  • Streamers
  • Empty container with a plastic lid (we used a crunchie container)
  • Scotch tape
  • Scissors
  • Stickers
  • Spoon

How to make your drum craft

  • Wrap the container with the streamer paper and tape it into place. If you don't have streamers you could always use paper or tissue paper instead.
  • Decorate the container with stickers.
  • Bang on the lid (or the bottom) with a spoon.
