Using fruit loops cereal, paper roll and a couple other basic materials, children will create a fall tree. This craft can also incorporate sorting, counting, color recognition as well as snack time. When finished, you have a pretty fall tree to decorate your classroom.

What You'll Need

STEP 1

Draw and cut out a simple tree top as shown.

STEP 2

Cut two slits on either side of the top of toilet paper roll.

STEP 3

Sort fall colored fruit loops into 3 groups. Help child count how many fruit loops are in each group.

STEP 4

Glue fruit loops onto green paper. Count how many fruit loops are on tree.

STEP 5

Insert tree top into slits on toilet paper roll after glue is dry. Let children enjoy some fruit loops.
