  • Small pieces of colored cardstock (at least three different colors)
  • Markers
  • 1 piece of sheet music
How to make your So Tweet Bird Thank You Card
  1. Using scissors, cut a rectangle shape from the sheet music for the background of the card.
  2. Cut a raindrop shape from three different colors of cardstock for the birds’ bodies.  Cut three smaller raindrop shapes from colored cardstock for the birds’ wings.  Glue the wings to the bodies.  Allow the glue to dry.
  3. Cut small triangles from orange colored cardstock for the birds’ beaks.  Glue to the front of the bird.  Glue the birds to the piece of sheet music in any arrangement you desire.  Allow the glue to dry.
  4. Draw an eye on each bird with a marker.  You may add designs or feet to the birds, if desired.
  5. Write a message in between the lines of the music.  Some ideas include: “Thank you for being so “tweet”!” or “You are a “tweet”-heart”!”
  6. Your card is complete!  Give it as thank you note to a favorite music teacher!
