Children love making this fun winter window decoration. All you need are some craft supplies like tissue paper, a sheet of black paper, contact paper along with a few other things that are easy to find lying around. Follow the simple instructions below to create yours and when complete, put it in the window for a wonderful winter or Christmas decoration!

What You'll Need
STEP 1
First, download the Mittens Sun Catcher Template.
STEP 2
Cut out the template and trace 2 onto the black sheet of paper. Cut out the 2 mittens on the black sheet of paper.
STEP 3
Cut out the center portions of the template and trace them onto the 2 black paper mittens. Cut out the centers of the black paper mittens.
STEP 4
Cut out a portion of the contact paper and place the black mittens onto the contact paper.
STEP 5
Cut the tissue paper into 1” squares then fill the mitten with the tissue paper by placing the squares onto the contact paper.
STEP 6
Then cut out another portion of the contact paper and place it on top of the mittens, and cut around the outside of the mittens.
STEP 7
Finally, use painters tape to put your mitten sun catchers onto a window.
