Photo Leprechaun Hat Craft

Your child becomes a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day in this cute paper plate leprechaun hat craft. Children create a leprechaun hat from green construction paper and finger paint a paper plate orange to make a beard. A photo of the child is added as well as some St. Patrick’s Day stickers. These leprechauns look adorable on a March bulletin board.

What You'll Need
STEP 1
Using the template, trace the hat onto the green paper and cut it out.
STEP 2
Cut a simple black and yellow belt and glue onto the hat as shown.
STEP 3
Cut the center of the paper plate out and finger paint it orange.
STEP 4
After the paint is dry, use the scissors to cut many slits into the bottom of the plate to create a beard.
STEP 5
Glue the picture over the pate and the hat on top of the picture and plate.
STEP 6
Add a few of the stickers to the hat.
