Paper Plate Groundhog Puppet Craft
5,040 Visits
This groundhog puppet craft is a great February project. Discuss Groundhog’s Day with your class and ask them if they would like six more weeks of winter or an early spring! After painting a paper plate brown, children cut whiskers and teeth from white foam and ears from brown construction paper. These are glued to the plate as well as two google eyes and a button nose. A craft stick glued to the back turns this little groundhog into a puppet that children can play with or put on a puppet show.
