This time it's OK for your child to blow bubbles! With only a few ingredients you probably already have handy, your little ones will make bubble prints onto their cute pig. Messy, yes, but that makes this project even more fun and perfect for a sunny summer afternoon. Take things outdoors and make cleanup as easy as a hose down. *Before you start you need to make sure your child understands the concept of blowing not sucking through the straw.

What you'll need:

  • Dirty pig craft template
  • Shallow tray or dish
  • Brown paint (not shown in picture, but make sure you have it!)
  • Liquid soap
  • Straw
  • Pink construction paper
  • Marker
  • Glue
How to make your dirty pig craft:
  1. Using the template provided trace and cut out all of the pieces to the pig. Assemble the pig as shown in the picture.
  2. Fill you shallow dish about - 1/8 the way with water and then about 2-3 tablespoons of brown paint and mix. Then add about a teaspoon of soap. And mix.
  3. Then start blowing into the mixture with your straw.
  4. When you have a mound of bubbles grab your pig and lay it on top of the bubbles. Repeat this process and few times and your pig will start looking "dirty".
  5. When the pig dries draw on some eyes, mouth and nostrils.
