Our cute tissue paper blossom craft is a wonderful spring craft for kids. With a little tissue paper, glue and our provided template, your kids can make their own spring trees full of beautiful flowers or buds. This is a great spring craft for working with fine motor skills in preschool age children, but even young children will enjoy this nature craft with a little help from a grown-up.

What you'll need:

  • Construction paper: white, green, brown
  • Tree template
  • Pink and white tissue paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
How to make your Spring Blossom Craft:
  1. Print our tree template and cut it out. Trace it onto the brown construction paper and cut it out. Then glue the tree onto a piece of white construction paper.
  2. Cut the tissue paper into small squares (1"x1"). Show your child how to crumple the paper up into little balls.
  3. When you have enough little balls of tissue paper made, put drops of glue on the branches of the tree and have your child stick the tissue paper balls onto the tree.
  4. When you have enough buds on your tree, cut a piece of green construction paper out that fits along the bottom of the page to be the grass.
  5. Have your child cut small slits in the green construction paper so it looks more like grass and then glue the grass in place at the bottom of the tree.
