Q Tip Pussy Willow Craft

Springtime is the perfect time to talk about flowers. After learning about pussy willows and seeing some real ones (if possible), children can create their own pussy willows. Children glue a cotton ball to the center of a piece of paper. They then glue q tips all around the cotton ball and add a green ribbon for a stem. When finished, they have a pretty spring craft.

What you'll need:

Blue construction paper
Glue
Q Tips
Green ribbon
Cotton ball
Scissors

How to make your q-tip pussy willow craft:

Glue q tips in a circle form as shown. Be sure to leave empty space at the bottom for a stem.
Cut a piece of the green ribbon and glue it under the flower to create a stem.
Glue the cotton ball in the center of the q tips.
Cut two leaves from the green ribbon and glue to the stem.
