Fingerprint Father's Day Tie Craft

Daddies love homemade gifts from their children! This craft is not only homemade but even uses the child's fingerprints to decorate the tie! Children can personalize the craft by choosing the color paint and the types of foam stickers that their Dad would like!

What you'll need:

  • Template of tie
  • Construction paper
  • Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  • Paint
  • Foam stickers
How to make your Fingerprint Father's Day Tie Craft:
  1. Trace the template onto whichever color paper the child chooses and cut out.
  2. Child dips their finger into a paint color of their choosing and decorates the tie with their fingerprints.
  3. Glue ribbon behind the tie, making sure the ribbon is long enough to hang the tie or even wear it!
  4. Have the child choose some foam stickers that their dad would like to add to the tie. (We used a sports theme.).
