What you'll need:
- Paper plate
- Yellow paint
- Black marker or crayon
- Paint brush
How to make your handprint sun craft:
- Paint your child's hand yellow. We find that when doing handprint crafts that they turn out better if you put the paint on with a brush rather than dipping the child's hand in the paint.
- Press your child's hand onto the paper plate so that their palm is in the center of the plate with their fingers reaching to the outer edge.
- Repeat this process until you have a ring of finger prints all around the plate. Make sure to overlap the palms!
- Use the marker or crayon to draw on the sun's face. You could even add sunglasses!
