Popsicle Craft

Children love eating popsicles and now they can make their own popsicle craft with this cute idea! After tracing a popsicle template onto construction paper, children add a popsicle stick. By gluing paper strips, gem stones and ribbon, each child can create a popsicle to their liking! This is a fun project to make on a hot day and you can follow up by enjoying a real popsicle.

What you'll need:

Template of popsicle
Popsicle stick
Colorful construction paper (2 sheets)
Colorful ribbon
Gemstones
Glue
Scissors

How to make your popsicle craft:

Trace the template onto piece of paper.
Cut out popsicle.
Glue a popsicle stick under the popsicle.
Cut the ribbon to fit the bottom of the popsicle and glue on.
Cut two small strips to fit popsicle from the other piece of paper and glue onto the popsicle as shown.
Glue gemstones around top of popsicle and over the paper strips.
Glue more gemstones between the paper strips.
Glue more gemstones between ribbon and paper strip.
